Wendy Drive Interchange Construction Begins

Thousand Oaks will begin construction on the Wendy Drive/ Highway 101 Freeway interchange. Plans call for the addition of one travel lane in each direction, widening the northbound on-ramp and southbound off-ramp, and adding bike lanes.

Periodic nighttime closures of the entire interchange will occur over the next eighteen months. When closures occur, drivers will be routed to on and off-ramps on the freeway.  In addition, the freeway on and off-ramps will be intermittently closed between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., and reopened between 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
