Two Men Arrested at Agoura Taco Bell

February 10, 2012

Lost Hills deputies recently responded to a forgery call at Albertsons market on Agoura Road.

The store manager, McKillup, told police that the two men entered the store and asked him to open the locked cabinet storing high-dollar liquor bottles. After he did so, the men purchased $945 of booze. After the transaction, the cashier informed the store manager that the credit card information did not match the information on the receipt, and that the credit card appeared to be invalid.

The two men, later identified as Karapet Papazyan, 33, and Artak Varekyan, 29, ran out of the store and into the parking lot as police arrived.

As police setup an area containment, the two attempted to hide inside the Taco Bell on Agoura Road. They were subsequently detained at gunpoint and arrested for forgery.
