Las Virgenes Road was closed most of Friday due to an accident that occurred around 1am early Friday morning.
Authorities reported that a woman fell asleep driving and crashed her car into a power poll near Mulholland Highway. Wires were exposed and power lost to a large number of nearby homes both at the time of the accident and as the lines were repaired.
The driver had only minor injuries.

Good that she escaped with only minor injuries. But I do hope she got a ticket for falling asleep while driving.
She felt asleep while driving?? I'll show this news to my wife to make her understand why I don't let her drive in the first place!
Lol! Best of luck with that. Jokes apart, this could have happened with anyone.
