Katie Holmes has denied reports that her three-year-old daughter Suri Cruise will be attending the Calabasas New Village Academy. Also, a representative for the school has denied the story, claiming not only has no application been filed.
The school, founded by Will Smith, denies that it teaches Scientology is controversial because it relies on instructional methods developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. The school’s director has said it isn’t a Scientology facility.
The school’s website discusses “Study Technology,” a form of teaching developed by Church of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. The website also uses Scientology terminology such as “spiraling” and “gradient.” In fact, the school’s motto “Spiral Up” has been compared to Scientology’s term “dwindling spiral,” where “one commits overt acts unwittingly.”
Prior to New Village Academy, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s two children had been home schooled along with several other families. In 2008, Smith paid almost $900,000 to lease the Calabasas campus for three years.
The school reports it has 60 students with plans to reach 80.

I couldn't care less which celebrity's daughter goes to which school.
Its a bit significant as either Will Smiith or his wife (I am not sure who) is a practitioner of Scientology. Interestingly, they have been in a denial mode for their school's affiliation to this religious cult even though there are many indications that the school is following some of its teaching methodologies.
Ah, I feel so complete after reading the OP
With due respects, I think Scientology is, like other such phenomena, a cult which will just fade away.
Yeah, infact none of the people I know are practitioners of this umm…religion.
From what I know, Scientology is based more on practical and scientific things as compared to most religions. That's why some people are getting attracted towards it.
