Middle School Student Alanna Moorman Mourned

People who knew her remembered a kind-hearted girl, as 400 hundred of Alanna Moorman’s friends and family gathered to say goodbye.

Alanna, a student at A.E. Wright and Teresa Amati, a supervisor at Lindero Canyon, were both killed in a car crash in Italy last week. Alanna’s father, Dave Moorman, is president of the Las Virgenes school district board.

It was a trip to Italy with friends and family that turned tragic.

According to Italian reports, the driver of the car, Italian Angelo Terrameo, 72, lost control of the car which flew off the road, killing him and three passengers.

Alessandra Amati, whose mother died, is a student at Lindero Canyon and suffered broken bones in her hand and other injuries, but is expected to recover. A baby also survived the crash.

Oh dear, what a sad news. No kid deserves to die such an early death. May her soul Rest In Peace.

Extremely sad news. Did any investigation take place as to how the driver lost control of the car?

I was deeply saddend by the news of this young girl. The most common mistake we make as people is take things for granted, hard times like these make us realize how important family is and how we should never assume that we are going to live forever. This is why its sometimes a good idea to stop and look around us and appreciate people and the simple things in life. My prayers go to everyone affected by this tragedy but specially to this young and incredible human being.
