"Ginger Attack" Fallout Continues

The search term “ginger attack Calabasas” returns 176,000 results in Google.
- Police say they have interviewed over 25 A.E. Wright middle school students trying to get to the bottom of things.
- The school robo-called all parents and left a message from the school principal saying how seriously they were taking things. (Read the full text here.)
- The L.A. Times has written eight articles on the incident, including their latest story which says that action will likely be taken against four students and that detectives are investigating the incidents as possible assaults with a deadly weapon.
In its initial press release, the Sheriff’s Department indicated that a “shod foot” may be the basis of a ‘deadly weapon’ charge.
Meanwhile, the alleged “rape by force” of a 16-year-old girl by a 24-year-old man near Topanga Canyon Blvd., reported here last month, has received virtually no attention.
