Kylie Cunningham picked up the first tournament Most Valuable Player award of her high school career Tuesday night.
Judging by the freshman's poise under pressure, it probably won't be her last.
Cunningham scored a game-high 27 points, nine in the fourth quarter, to help the Agoura girls' basketball team hold off an inspired effort from Marmonte League rival Calabasas in a 64-56 victory in the championship game of the 12th annual Pioneer Shootout at Providence High.
