We are a small, growing specialty insurance company looking for a temporary Account Administrator to assist our busy Funds Control Department in our Surety Division. This is a temporary, full time position but may lead to a permanent, full time position. Primary responsibilities include working with contractors in preparing cost breakdowns for their construction projects from their Schedule of Values, entering data in our accounting system, and handling the cash receipts and disbursements for construction projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or math. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to work with contractors and handle responsibilities under time pressure. Must have a passion for providing top quality customer service and for getting things done quickly, accurately, and on time. Strong Microsoft Excel® and Word® skills required. Construction experience and/or construction accounting experience a plus.
This is a temporary, full time position. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30 PM. Hourly pay is up to $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
