FBI Raids Area Pot Grower
August 31, 2010
Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided three homes recently, including one in Agoura Hills, in a narcotics operation.
The Agoura home, located on Calle Robleda, contained a marijuana growing facility and approximately $100,000 of drugs.
Kirk Gardner, 35, of Woodland Hills was arrested along with two unidentified females at his Woodland Hills home. Detective Eric Pierce of the LAPD told the Acorn that the rented Agoura home was outfitted with automatic lights, timers, and a sprinkler system which allowed it to maintain continuous growing operations without having someone live there full time. The drug production did approximately $60,000 in damage to the property.
Police were initially alerted to the property by a suspicious neighbor.
