Celebrity web site TMZ reports that Italian model Fabio Lanzoni crashed an amazingly expensive car right outside of Calabasas on Saturday afternoon.
They say Fabio was driving a Ferrari when he came around a turn too fast and lost control. And the car didn’t even belong to him, but was the property World Class Driving. The company rents high-end sports cars under the motto “Life is Short, Just Drive.”
A witness said the car struck something off road, causing damage to the front and back ends on the right side of the Ferrari.
Fabio was evidently not badly hurt and was reported to be taking photos with fans at the Hyatt later in the afternoon.
A spokesperson for the rental company told TMZ: “No comment. We are not very proud of the fact that Fabio wrecked our car.”
According to the company’s internet site, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorino costs about $400,000 and its V12 engine is the most powerful ever offered in a production car.
Fabio stands out throughout the Hollywood community as a friendly and open celebrity.

Looks like Fabio almost took the Rental car company's motto “Life is short, Just drive” a bit too seriously!
Fortunately, no one was hurt. I don't know whom to blame, the care rental company or Fabio
I blame both, actually. The car rental company for their irresponsible ad and the driver for driving recklessly.
I don't think the Car Rental company is to be blamed. Their ad is catchy and is meant to attract customers. Anyone with some common sense will drive those 'beasts' with responsibility.
Yeah…much like what they said in SpiderMan, the movie(s): With great power comes great responsibility.
Peter Parker Fan, eh?
Well said!
