DUI Checkpoint Nets Single DUI Arrest

L.A. County Sheriff Department deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Station operated a DUI checkpoint on Las Virgenes Road and Meadow Creek Lane.

The checkpoint ran from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. and 1,552 drivers were stopped for inspection.

One person was arrested for an unspecified outstanding warrant.

A similar checkpoint on August 8th of this year resulted in four DUI arrests.

Last year, there were 15 DUI checkpoints in Calabasas.
