Calabasas “Snow Day” Cancelled Due to Rain

Snow Day, previously postponed and then rescheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2010, has been cancelled due to the rain forecasts.

Although Sunday is supposed to be a warm and sunny day, several national weather models predict over an inch of rain will fall in Calabasas the day prior to Snow Day.

The city says that wet grounds at Gates Canyon Park would create costly damage from the heavy trucks transporting the snow and from the sledding itself.
