Calabasas Man Charged In Star Burglaries

Nicholas Frank Prugo was charged Tuesday for the burglaries of actresses Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Partridge.

Prugo is an 18-year-old Calabasas man who police say stole more than $170,000 worth of jewelry and designer clothes from the two Hollywood Hills homes.

He was arrested in September and released after posting $100,000 bail. He could be sentenced up to six years, which means that he would serve about two, if convicted of all counts. Arraignment is November 11.

Prugo, said to be part of a group, including two women, who burglarized and ransacked Lohan’s home. Videotape shows a pretty clear picture of him at the crime scenes.

He is also said to be socially acquainted with at least one of the victims.
