Calabasas, Calif., offers three distinct lodging options located near major attractions but away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Whether you are searching for upscale accommodations for a once-in-a-lifetime event or just a comfortable and safe place to stay that won’t break your travel budget, Country Inn & Suites, Good Nite Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn in Calabasas can meet your needs.

Budget-conscious travelers will be unable to beat the affordability and quality of Calabasas’ Good Nite Inn, which boasts a year-round average room rate of $77.

Equipped with all the standard amenities, including high-speed wireless Internet access, queen-size beds in all rooms, cable TV with HBO and an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, one recent guest wrote on yelp.com that they were “very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The price was cheap, the room was very clean and, most importantly … it was quiet.”

Calabasas’ Country Inn & Suites offers an upgrade in amenities with refrigerators and microwaves in each guest room as well as two- to three-bedroom suites with full kitchens and fireplaces.

The Country Inn can provide meeting space for up to 88 people for group events, and features a poolside lounge with full-service cocktail bar that can accommodate up to 70 people.

The mid-priced hotel, with room rates ranging from $90 to $140 per night, provides guests with a complimentary deluxe breakfast and a free copy of USA Today each morning.

The Calabasas Country Inn & Suites property also includes a fitness center, outdoor pool and guest laundry services.
“The staff is incredible and provide some of the best service I’ve ever experienced,” one recent guest wrote on tripadvisor.com. “We know there are other options in the area, but the Country Inn by far has the most value, the best and most convenient location and service.”

For those with an eye for deluxe accommodations, the Hilton Garden Inn in Calabasas offers travelers premium amenities and proximity to fine dining and upscale shopping.

The hotel features The Great American Grill, which offers guests a made-to-order breakfast each morning for under $10. The Hilton Garden Inn also can accommodate any large social gathering with 1,500 square feet of meeting space and full catering services.

The hotel boasts free wireless and hard-wire Internet access throughout the property, a complimentary USA Today on weekdays and a 24-hour convenience store and business center.

The property has an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, fitness center and its rooms feature alarm clocks with built-in MP3 players and portable CDE player capability.

Room rates range from $130 to $205 per night, but special discount deals may be available online.

“The hotel is well-maintained. The rooms are nicely furnished and the beds comfortable,” one recent guest wrote on tripadvisor.com. “The front desk was friendly and helpful and was very good about fixing an error they made in the booking … Having stayed in several hotels in the area, the Hilton Garden Inn is our favorite.”

All three hotels are conveniently located off Highway 101 and are a short drive from the Malibu beaches, Universal Studios Hollywood, Warner Bros. Studios, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Santa Monica and Malibu Creek State Park.
