Calabasas Businessman Semi-Finalist for Regional Entrepreneur Award

A Calabasas businessman is a semi-finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the greater Los Angeles region.

Ravi Sawhney, CEO and RKS Design founder, has about 30 employees at his headquarters in Thousand Oaks. His company does consultant work regarding design, innovation and strategy using Psycho-Aesthetics, his proprietary design methodology.

Sawhney, 53, is also the author of Predictable Magic ; additionally, Harvard University has adopted his Psycho-Aesthetics methodology as a business school case study. RKS Design has also won 60 awards in a little over two years.

A panel of independent judges will choose award recipients through one-on-one interviews and on-site visits based on qualities like achievement, leadership, social responsibility and vision. Regional award winners will be announced at a gala even in Beverly Hills on June 22.
