Animal Poop Cleaning Is Now the Law
February 13, 2009

The Calabasas City Council has passed an ordinance mandating the owner-removal of animal waste from all public and private property.
The law, which is now in effect, basically says that if your animal poops anywhere except your own property, you must immediately clean it up. If you don’t own the animal but are walking it nonetheless, it’s still your responsibility. Failure to do so may result in fines.
